Statement of Policy and Authorization

Houston Ship Repair, Inc., is committed to providing services conforming to recognized and sound engineering practices and to all applicable codes, regulatory rules and standards.

The management is committed to the principles of Quality, in that any function that influences the product or service, from the initial receipt of a Purchase Order through all phases of the order's implementation, is addressed to create a quality product or service, and provide scope for continuous improvement.

The Quality Management system, in addition to meeting the requirements of ISO 9002, promotes the effective and efficient running of our business, and particularly in our relationships with all our customers and suppliers. The Quality Management System is aimed at total customer satisfaction through training of staff and the control of working standards in accordance with approved procedures.

The achievement of this Quality Policy is the responsibility of the senior management of Houston Ship Repair, Inc.. Each departmental head is responsible for monitoring and verifying that the quality of work performed by the departmental personnel is in accordance with the requirements of the Quality Manual. All employees are responsible for knowing and conforming to the specified requirements of their work scope.

Finally, commitment to "Quality" must be a primary objective in every individual's role within the organization, and therefore compliance with the Quality Policy, and the requirements of the Quality Manual and Procedures is mandatory.
